Home Inspection

Thank you all for your congratulatory comments on my last post. The last two days have been a real roller-coaster of emotions. At times I've been elated, scared, excited, wanted to cry, singing at the top of my lungs with the car radio, tired, unable to sleep, unable to stay awake, unable to eat, etc. etc. It's worse than dating.

The closing deadline on the house is June 21. I think the time between now and then is going to be very busy and pass very quickly.

Tomorrow, for instance, is the home inspection. It will be me, my real estate agent, the inspector, and a sewer guy. It's supposed to take between 2 and 3 hours. I really have no idea what to expect.

The house, as I understand it, was bought a year ago by a company that buys run-down houses, fixes them up, and then resells them at enormous profit. I'm hoping that means that they know what they're doing and have done a good job. I guess tomorrow we'll see.

I'm planning on taking my camera with me, so I should be able to post pictures Real Soon NowTM.
