Time Event
Last night was, hands down, my best roller skating session ever.

For the first time in my life, I started actually feeling comfortable with four wheels strapped to each foot. Previously, it was all I could do to just loop myself around the rink for two hours without falling over. Last night, I was actually able to groove to the beat, and to imitate one of Kenny's simplest dance moves.

It gives me no end of delight that even I, the stereotypical kid who feared recess, was always picked last for teams in PE class, and was occasionally the victim of a spectacular hands-in-pockets faceplant, can go on in adulthood to master physical skills like roller skating, tango dancing, and juggling.

Ok, so I haven't mastered roller skating or tango dancing yet. But I will.

Oh, and, in honor of a rant on dressaday.com (thanks Beth), I wore a skirt :)
Very nice TED talk
Normally I post this sort of thing to delicious, but this one is so good I want it to get wider circulation.

Sir Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?

Highly recommended.
